The upcoming Apex Legends event is one that's had a lot of speculation circling around it. Many expected a big focus on Japanese culture in a boost that would offer cherry blossom-themed cosmetics, and others were finally expecting the reveal of the newest heirloom cosmetic. And now, the event has finally been revealed, and the changes coming to the game are far larger than we had imagined.
Apex Legends Reintroduces Original Kings Canyon And World's Edge
It has just been announced that the original forms of Apex Legends' most popular maps, Kings Canyon and World's Edge, will be returning to the game as part of the upcoming Genesis Collection event.
The news has been confirmed by the official Apex Legends Twitter account, unveiling the event and showing off some video footage of the original forms of the maps. The areas have undergone a huge mass of changes over the seasons, and they're set to be reset very soon.
The video also revealed some new cosmetics, including the long-rumoured heirloom coming next, a scythe for Revenant.

Along with the returning maps, it has been revealed that Skull Town, the location fans have been clamouring to see more love for, has been announced to be coming to the Arenas game mode.

The latest skins have finally been revealed too, and a new video has dropped cycling through a few of the latest cosmetics coming to Apex Legends.
Some weapons have received some balancing updates to go with the event too, offering some buffs to the P2020, Spitfire, 30-30 Repeater, and more.
