"Corpse Husband" may have been over-the-moon to be cast in the new Tribe Nine anime TV show. However, the streamer claims that some parts of the recording process were a little "embarrassing."

On February 6, Corpse Husband fans were ecstatic to learn that the streamer would be lending his iconic monotone vocals to a villainous character in the new anime TV show, Tribe Nine. Given his love for anime and deep haunting voice, it appeared like a match made in heaven.

However, while Corpse was "very excited" about the new role, he admitted that he did find the voice-recording process "embarrassing."

What Did Corpse Husband Say About Doing The Voice Recording For Tribe Nine?

Corpse Husband was doing a VALORANT playthrough alongside his streaming buddies Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter and "Sykkuno" when his performance as Ōjirō Ōtori in Tribe Nine soon worked its way into the conversation. Although clearly excited about being involved he claimed: "Making anime noises has to be one of the most embarrassing things I've ever done."

After Valkyrae begged for a demonstration, Corpse flat out refused. Corpse then went into a little further detail about the process, explaining "you have like, a director there, all your audio is being routed to the studio, and they have to listen to you making noises in silence [...] It's bad."

Of course, Corpse Husband certainly isn't a stranger to being in a recording studio. As well as finding fame reading short horror stories on YouTube, the 24-year-old has also gained a reputable following as a musician. His song 'E-GIRLS ARE RUINING MY LIFE' has been listened to over 213 million times on Spotify, at the time of writing. Not to mention, he also featured in Machine Gun Kelly's song 'DayWalker.'

Where Can I Watch Corpse Husband In Tribe Nine?

Despite being a little bit embarrassed about the voice-recording process, it's clear that Corpse is excited to be a part of the new anime TV series. Fans who are hoping to catch a glimpse of Corpse Husband as the mask-clad, cape-sporting Ōjirō can check out the English-dub of Tribe Nine over on Funimation

Sadly, Corpse Husband has previously spoken about how he might have to stop streaming in the future due to his various medical conditions. However, if that is the case, future anime shows could certainly pull in the punters with his incredible voice acting skills. 4
