Streamer "Corpse Husband" has revealed that he will be lending his voice to a new character in the upcoming Tribe Nine anime. With the streamer's deep, low-tones becoming so iconic, it's no surprise fans are excited.

Corpse Husband quickly found fame thanks to his read throughs of short horror stories on YouTube. His deep, slightly robotic vocals proved hugely popular among his fans. As a faceless streamer, we may not know Corpse Husband's true identity, but his iconic voice has quickly made him one of the most well-known figures in the streaming community.

So you can imagine the excitement when Corpse Husband announced that he is lending his spooky vocal tones to a character in the new Tribe Nine anime TV series.

Which Character Will Corpse Husband Be Playing In Tribe Nine Anime?

On February 6, Corpse revealed on Twitter that he will be playing new character Ojiro in the English dub for Tribe Nine. Clearly excited about the news, the 24-year-old stated that he "couldn't have asked for a better first role" and that he was "very honoured" to be involved with the show.

Corpse's fans quickly rushed to shower the streamer with their congratulatory messages. A number of big-name streamers also showed their support, including Jack "CouRage" Dunlop, Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson, and Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar. Corpse’s close friend, and one of the few people to have supposedly met him in person, Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter also shared her pride and excitement.

What Is The New Tribe Nine Anime Show?

The Tribe Nine TV show was released in January 2022 as part of a new Japanese anime franchise, which will see a video game also joining the mix as well as an upcoming webtoon. The story revolves around a group of disorganised "youths" living in a dystopian future who disband into different Tribes and are constantly at war with one another in the city of Neo-Tokyo. As a result, they are ordered by the government to settle their disputes through epic games of Extreme Baseball.

Corpse Husband's villainous Ojiro is heir to the throne of Neo Tokyo, who has nearly spent his whole life training to be the greatest Extreme Baseball player around. As Ojiro has already made his first appearance in the show, eagle-eyed viewers may have already spotted Corpse's name in the end-credits. However, with plenty more episodes on the way, there are some exciting things to come for fans. Corpse Husband playing a masked villain in a dystopian anime series about baseball? Sign me up.
