They say money makes the world go round, and when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, things are exactly the same. While CD Projekt Red's open world shooter takes us into a dystopian future that looks like it's been plucked from Blade Runner, even in this bizarre reality, you'll still need coin to make it in Night City. Here, the general currency is something called eddies. You'll need them for everything, meaning it's important to get V (the main character) earning ASAP.

Even though you might earn a little more than you would in 2020 for your various bounties and sales in this crime-riddled landscape, things also cost a lot more. With this in mind, players are looking for any way possible to maximise their monetisation. Thankfully, someone has found a Cyberpunk 2077 unlimited money glitch. Yes, we know there are a lot of glitches currently running rife in the game, but next to some comedic clipping problems with genitalia, the ability to earn 36,000,000 eddies an hour is our favourite.

Cyberpunk 2077 unlimited money glitch: How does it work?

Posted by OTRGamerTV, this handy tutorial is titled, "Cyberpunk 2077 Money Glitch: Exploit $36,000,000 PER HOUR". For this one, you're encouraged to find the "Walk the Line" mission of the main story. Here, you have to decide whether you're going to side with the Vood Boys or NetWatch. For the glitch to work, players have to pick the Voodoo Boys.

Forget taking the stealth approach when infiltrating the NetWatch hideout. Instead, barrel in all guns blazing and wipe our the squad of grunts. You'll then be faced with a formidable boss called Matilda K. Rose. When taking her on, it's important she's downed but not dead. With Matilda on her last legs, save the game (as a backup), finish her with that final blow, and reap the reward of her 30,000 eddies. Save again, and then reload the game with your most recent save.

As long as the glitch is still working, Matilda will be miraculously back in action and ready for you to take on all over again. Voila, Matilda is primed for all your eddie-farming needs. Be warned, this method will only work until you've completed the mission, so make the most of it while you can and watch your bank balance soar through the roof.

Cyberpunk 2077 unlimited money glitch: Are there any more?

While we stare in awe at the various sportscars and Tron-inspired bikes, it's even more disheartening as we chug around the various districts in our clunkers. Devs have made some up the high-tier vehicles and weapons seem nearly unattainable, but with several unlimited money glitches, we're rolling in dough here. Away from the Matilda K. Rose exploit, another can be found.

TagBackTV explained how the Act 2 mission called "Space Oddity" can also offer up some serious moolah. When heading to the Santo Domingo district, complete the job to obtain a valuable painting from the fallen space capsule. Travel to any dropbox and shift the painting for 4000 eddies. Quickly leave the selling interface, wait a second, then interact with the dropbox again. You can buy the painting back for just five eddies, then sell it again for a profit of 3,955 eddies. Repeat this forever and become your very own Cyberpunk 2077 Jeff Bezos.

There are more "honest" ways to earn eddies like selling your junk, crafting materials into weapons you can flog, or taking care of unreported crimes. This is the moral way to swell your earnings, but let's be honest, most of us are probably going to want the quick fix. Even though players are pretty unhappy with the way Cyberpunk 2077 is playing right now - leading to CD Projekt Red even offering refunds - the unlimited money glitches are a welcome addition. We'd make the most of them while you can. Then again, you could try and earn an honest crust or live like a pauper on the streets of Night City.
