Fans Disappointed As Ubisoft's Last Reveal Was Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora
It's been 12 years since Avatar jumped into our lives in 3D cinema screenings, but now the world of Pandora is getting an interactive game and it couldn't be more needed. After all, it is the highest-grossing movie of all time.
Many of us believed that the game would probably be cancelled, and yet during the official Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 showcase, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was finally given a full trailer release at the very end of the showcase.
If you didn't get the chance to see it during the event, here's the full trailer.
While the trailer undoubtedly reminded us that the world of Pandora, and its inhabitants are a thing of beauty perfectly made for exploring, Twitter wasn't quite as amazed as they could have been by the announcement, taking to the social media platform to voice their disdain about the closing title feature.
Cries for a new Splinter Cell announcement were rife throughout the showcase, however Ubisoft did not deliver any new information for the Tom Clancy classic, instead focusing on the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora reveal, which has divided fans.
Many others complained about the 'lacklustre' showcase, stating that there wasn't enough in it to get them hyped despite the whole year leading up to E3.
When is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora coming out?
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is scheduled for release in 2022. While there is currently no official release date for the game itself, it's likely to be in either summer or later parts of the year.
