Gambit Esports has been crowned as the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 3 champions, after an intense Grand Final victory over Envy.

Having traded blow for blow across Z maps, Gambit proved too strong in the end and have taken home the Masters: Berlin trophy and a $225,000 cheque.

Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov, Nikita "d3ffo" Sudakov, Bogdan "Sheydos" Naumov, Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin, and Igor "Redgar" Vlasov will take home the crown, and sit upon the throne that was recently vacated by Sentinels.

The EMEA side started the strongest of the two in the final, taking their first map select despite being forced into overtime by Envy. With a particularly stellar showing from unsung hero, Chronicle, Gambit was able to keep Eny's star man Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker relatively quiet.

Envy's hotshot did wake up in game 2, putting on a 27-17 KD scoreline, although the overall team performance from Gambit proved too hot to handle for NA's highest ranked team.

Although Envy had not lost a single map in the entire event, Gambit's calculated approach clutched up in the tightest of series, that wasn't reflected in the 3-0 clean sweep.

The victory for EMEA's top seed also earns them automatic qualification for the VCT Champions, opening another slot for the region and also defaulting Fnatic into the confirmed Champions slots through Gambit's vacated Circuit Points position.

Going into Champions, this means EMEA will have Gambit, Fnatic, Acend, and a final selection through the Last Chance Qualifier.

The victory for Gambit see's them as just the second international Major-winning team in VALORANT's short history, with Masters 1 being played regionally. The Russian organisation will soon look to conquer the world stage once more, after the celebrations of Berlin are ignited.
