Xbox’s press has been ramping into overdrive to promote the Game Pass. It’s clear it wants more people to join the pass, collaborating with Krispy Kreme on a new Nexus Level doughnut, and the official Xbox luggage designed to look like the Series S. Namely, Microsoft is helping players transport their consoles in style.

The Game Pass drive has been working overtime, especially to coincide with the new video game blockbuster, Free Guy, with the Xbox Game Pass Non-Player Character Awards. And the collab hasn’t stopped there - in fact, it’s extended to the red carpet.

Why did Halo’s Warthog appear on the Free Guy red carpet?

As a fresh surprise that extends Xbox’s cross-promotions with Free Guy, one of the upcoming Halo Infinite vehicles made an appearance at the world premiere of the film in New York. It stood proudly alongside Ryan Reynolds, Lil Rel Howery, and even Ninja - but it’s not just a pretty face.

The all-terrain vehicle might be perfectly replicated from the game (using renders from Halo Infinite, no less) and pulled from its appearances in Free Guy, but it’s also completely operable.

The Real-Life Warthog Is Completely Drivable

Produced in collaboration with motorsport brand Hoonigan Industries and 343 Industries, the Halo Warthog is entirely drivable. Its accessories, body, interior, and switchgear are all hand-crafted by Hoonigan, and it’s the perfect picture of the in-game vehicle.

It comes packed with huge 43-inch tyres and 20-inch wheels, with 1000+ horsepower, and a twin-turbo small-block Ford V8 engine - the same engine that powers the Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V2.

The Warthog is an absolute behemoth, and the perfect way to cross-promote Halo Infinite just in time for the Free Guy launch. Xbox, if you’re reading this, we’ll take one, please.
