Flying on the back of Caldera's release, some new additions to the Loadout Drop Markers will soon be making their way to Call Of Duty: Warzone. However, not everyone is best pleased with the news.

What with the new Warzone Pacific map sending fans into a frenzy in the lead-up to its release, as well as the retirement of the classic Verdansk, Call Of Duty: Warzone has been going through a lot of changes.

Another change that will soon be landing in Warzone involves the game's Loadout Drop Markers- a special type of supply crate that lets players access their custom loadouts and get some very special perks. While some fans were pleased with the news, one particularly well known player wasn't too happy. Taking to Twitter, Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff expressed his concern about the changes to the Loadout Drop Markers and the reason why is fairly understandable.

What Did NICKMERCS Say About The Warzone Loadout Changes?

A post shared by CharlieIntel revealed that the Warzone Pacific map will bring about a whole load of "changes to Dead Silence, the removal of Stopping Power Rounds, nerfs to Stun & Heartbeat Sensor". The tweet also claimed that Loadout Drop Markers "can now only be purchased from Buy stations after the Loadout Dropout event occurs in a match, effectively shifting their usefulness from an immediate power spike to a more tactical choice in the mid to end game."

However, NICKMERCS disagreed. Immediately, the Warzone player and streamer called the change "an L forsure". One fan argued that the change "broadens the skill gap IMO. either you’re good or not, but this way Bots can’t just rest on the Meta." However, NICKMERCS responded: "Negative. This exactly the opposite. Just gives the bots a bit more time to run around & enjoy the new island view. Slows the pace down a bit. When in reality, y’all gonna get sh*t on either way."

NICKMERCS has pleaded to the Warzone devs for better POIs and map changes in the past. However, this is one change that the FaZe Clan co-owner is not excited for. Going into further detail, NICKMERCS claimed: "Big Devs will always make moves to protect & preserve their player base from the sharks that farm it on the daily. But there’s only so much you can do."

What Other New Warzone Loadout Changes Are On The Way?

Call Of Duty certainly has pushed the boat out to ensure Warzone players are kept entertained during the Christmas period, with various new additions on the way on December 8 and 9. As well as the change to the Loadout Drop Markers, Vanguard players will finally get an exclusive playthrough of Caldera on December 8, whereas the rest of the world can explore on December 9.

With the release date drawing ever closer, fans are certainly getting hyped to explore the sandy beaches of Caldera. Not everyone might be overjoyed with the changes to the Loadout Drop Markers, but perhaps as one fan said: "I’m sure this will hurt high kill game wrs but I think this will be a very positive change in the long run."
