Old habits die hard as Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is back doing what he does best and suiting up for the Marvel-themed Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. With the blue-haired streamer making a name for himself in Epic Games' battle royale favourite, Ninja has been lured back to the game to see what's new. It's not just spandex-clad supes that are breathing new life into Fortnite, and with plenty of new features being added to the mix, it's clear developers are committed to keeping the game fresh.

While we're loving the new and improved Fortnite Season 4, Ninja has accused players of "sleeping" on the game and thinks they need to make the most of what's on offer. Although Ninja has been focussing on his VALORANT career in recent months, his return to Twitch has also come with a welcome Fortnite homecoming. Following what Ninja described as a few "bad days in a row", he hopped back into the Fortnite map with Ali “SypherPK” Hassan.

Saying he felt "rejuvenated" after trying out Fortnite again, Ninja said other players were “sleeping on” Season 4. As well as the return of fan-favourite weapons like the Boogie Bomb, there's been an emphasis on fishing, areas like Pleasant Park have been remodelled into Doom's Domain, and there's the ability to customise skins to create your own superheroes. Although Epic has dabbled with Marvel content before, it's nothing compared to the comic book explosion Season 4 has delivered. In general, Season 4 is one of Fortnite's biggest ever.

As for Ninja, he scooped a victory in season 4 using an impressive combo of Thor's hammer and Iron Man's Unibeam. With Ninja putting his Mixer days behind him and finally getting back on Twitch, there have been questions about whether he could return to Fortnite full-time. While it looks unlikely, at least he hasn't completely ditched the game that arguably made him.

Despite criticisms that Fortnite has lost its way - and with someone people calling it a "dead" game - that hasn't deterred Epic from continuing to revamp and reinvent. All of this comes in the midst of Epic's own "epic" battle with Apple. A huge chunk of its playerbase has been unable to try out Season 4 due to Apple taking Fortnite off the app store. Still, it's popularity on Twitch and pro competitions like DreamHack have kept the title trending.

Considering Ninja is held as one of the best Fortnite players in the world, maybe we should start listening to his advice and make sure we wake up to everything the gaming giant has to offer? Grab your rods and head into the map for a spot of fishing.
