Grab your money bags and soldiers, as Activision is spilling its dollar notes into a game mode where cash is king. That's right, Warzone 2 is getting the fruitful game mode Plunder - which proved widely successful in the original battle royale title.

Despite turning into somewhat of a weapon-level simulator, Plunder pits teams against each other in a race to become millionaires with in-game cash, where eliminating full squads has great rewards for your team.

After becoming one of the best non-core game modes in the original Warzone, footage of the game mode in the sequel has now emerged, confirming its arrival in Season 2.

Warzone 2 Plunder Footage Confirms Season 2 Playlist

The leaked gameplay of Plunder in Warzone 2 has appeared on Twitter, as one leaker has shown to be operating the game mode within Al Mazrah.

The clip in question shows the HUD of Plunder alongside the money-counter slider in the bottom left. Its believed that this leak will lead to Plunder arriving in Season 2. That's because it can already be accessed by dataminers on PC.

We previously speculated about Plunder coming to Warzone 2 Season 2, so it looks like we could be on the money with this one. For those who want an easy way to farm weapon XP and quickly earn new attachments, you're in luck.

Third-Person Warzone Set To Return In Season 2

It's even more interesting that after weeks of the third-person mode being axed from Warzone 2, it now appears to be returning too. Better yet, it'll even operate for Plunder.

The behind-person game mode was removed from rotation early in Season 1 and has not yet returned. but with Season 2 being a catalyst for bug fixes and playlist overhauls, third-person and Plunder will make welcome additions to Warzone.

It does appear that both game modes will only be playable on al Mazrah and not Season 2's Ashika Island, but resurgence will likely be the only game mode players will want to get used to on the Japanese Castle-orientated map.
