In some games, there are unwritten rules that have to be kept otherwise the games go into complete anarchy.

Over in Minecraft, the sacred value of diamonds is a taboo treasure for a raider to steal. Taking a players diamond only ends one way - a vengeful war between the bereaved and the rich, that will undoubtedly destroy the server as well as real-life friendships.

Skyrim and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) have their unwritten rules as a common characteristic - you do not kill the chickens. A rather simple one, but for the should this be broken by tomfoolery, incarceration awaits, with all respect diminished.

For players playing Rust, such as popular streamer Jaryd "Summit1g" Lazar, it is a frowned upon exercise to slaughter a naked man who cannot defend himself.

Unfortunately for Summit1g, this rule was broken on multiple occasions, with Lazar being the grieving party, causing the streamer to lose his cool.

Why Did Summit1g Rage On Rust?

Summit1g's experience on the title had gone from bad to worse in his recent stream. After being killed and losing his loot, he was barbarically butchered again, although this time he had no resources, no armour, and nothing to defend himself with.

Shortly after respawning again, with nothing but a rock in hand and a rag over his breezy cheeks, Summit1g's character was slain again by a player with a crossbow, leaving him to bleed out on the floor.

The kill was the final straw for Lazar, who erupted on stream, much to the amusement of his chat and fellow companions.

Shortly after exploding, he said: “I can believe it, dude, I can’t believe it, people’s bloodlust in this game is pretty much equivalent to real human beings in their actual life… how badly with a crossbow do you need to kill me.”

Will Summit play rust again?

Summit1g often plays online survival games on stream, having recently spent many hours on the Grand Theft Auto Role-Playing NoPixel server and scavenging the open waters on Sea of Thieves

The streamer made no indication that he'll be sticking around on Rust for long, especially after being maimed so often - although the title is rather suited to his tastes. If he manages to stay alive, Summit1g may very well continue playing Rust in the future.
