Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter and Jack "CouRage" Dunlop have officially been unveiled as brand-new co-owners of Los Angeles based organisation 100 Thieves. The two content creators have been a large focal point of the organisation's success in recent times, being the two major faces in terms of streaming, YouTube content, and lots of behind-the-scenes work.

The duo joins founder Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag and other minority Co-owners Dan Gilber, Scooter Braun, and Drake as the team invested into 100 Thieves.

Both of the new co-owners come from a long history of content creation that has propelled them to become some of the most recognised streamers on the planet. For Courage, his journey alongside Nadeshot stems from time spent as a Call of Duty commentator and presenter where his now-partner shared the stage competing under the OpTic Gaming flag.

Taking to Twitter, Courage stated "You’ve [Nadeshot] believed in me since we met at my first ever event and have become my best friend. Let’s continue to take over together."

As a leading role model for women in gaming, Valkyrae's success is a phenomenon. After just shy of three years since joining 100 Thieves, the streamer of the year 2020 has now become one of the first women ever to co-own an esports organisation, especially one of such status.

Speaking in the announcement video, Rae said: "Looking back, I just feel like it’s been such a long journey. And now being, not just a co-owner, but a female co-owner, like how did this even happen! It just feels like everything just played out so unbelievably well.”

Nadeshot has branded the announcement as "probably the most important day in 100 Thieves history," whilst former 100 Thieves Co-owner and now FaZe partner Nick "Nickmercs" Kolcheff also put any differences aside to state: "I’m happy for my friends CouRageJD and Valkyrae. Congrats! All the best".

The day got even better for 100 Thieves too, as their Call of Duty League side LA Thieves advanced to the next round of the second Major event, clean sweeping Paris Legion 3-0 after adding Zack "Drazah" Jordan to the roster.

As Courage and Valkyrae both mentioned, the future is most certainly bright for 100 Thieves.
