With just a mere few weeks before VALORANT's 12 elite teams go head to head in the first international LAN event in the esports' early history, teams who have not made the Stage 2 Masters will be looking to sharpen Raze's blades in anticipation of Stage 3.

The pick of the bunch who qualified through regional events are packing their bags with the destination of Reykjavík, Iceland in mind, as starting on May 24, the sides will battle it out to crown an international champion

However, Riot Games have already eyed Stage 3.

VALORANT Champions Tour: Stage 3 Masters will be held in Berlin, Germany.

Stage 3 Masters: Berlin

Speaking in a media preview event Riot Games' Senior Director of Esports, Whalen Rozelle said that "Masters Berlin will also increase in size with 16 teams in attendance. This will allow a greater representation from all of our regions,

"Additionally, the team that wins Masters Berlin will automatically qualify for VALORANT Champions."

As for live audiences, Rozelle added that "we really hope" that fans can attend, although no official procedures are yet in place and they will continue to liaise with local authorities.

The event will be held at the Verti Music Hall, coincidentally the same venue that hosted the 2019 League of Legends World Championship Group Stage

In addition to the unveiling of the Stage 3 Masters location, Riot Games also revealed the stunning trophy that will be awarded to the winners of the Champions tour.

Typically embezzled with a sleek and shiny glass touch and dripped in an oozing mauve finish, the VALORANT Champions Trophy will be the prize that every team will want to get their hands on.

VALORANT Masters Stage 2 will be underway on May 24, where the first international champion will be crowned. The winners of Stage 2 will not be booked in for the Champions 2021, weighing a lot more focus on the final stage of the tour.
