Warzone Glitch Sees John McClane Stuck In Helicopter Blades
Call of Duty Warzone has an undeniable problem with glitches and cheats. Some are more subtle and silly than others, but many games have been broken by the bugs that slip through the cracks of Activision’s patches, like the frustrating stim glitch and players forcing themselves into walls for bullet protection. Regular patches aren’t enough to keep the game stable, but Activision has hoped that the latest ‘80s Action Heroes update will buy them some time and distract players long enough to patch the gaps. But unfortunately for them, the update has come with its own set of glitchy problems.
Warzone’s John McClane Helicopter Blades Glitch
As seen in a Reddit clip, it doesn’t look like the latest skin addition to Warzone agrees with helicopter blades very much. The clip posted by user xDCx00seven shows two players getting in a helicopter, but one player doesn’t quite make it all the way inside. The John McClane skin bobs and flops around in the helicopter blades like a wacky waving inflatable tube man, as the incredibly fitting You Spin Me Right Round by Dead or Alive plays over the heli’s stereo. Poetic.
The Exhausted Follow-Up
After the clip gained popularity on Reddit, the user uploaded a follow-up to the first video, showing that John McClane had run out of steam a bit. As Cities In Dust by Siouxsie and the Banshees plays, he flaps about lifelessly as the helicopter rocks from side to side. McClane looks like he’s ready to leave the party, pal (sorry).
The glitch might be a daft one, but it’s indicative of Activision’s continued failing to patch up glitches. Fingers crossed they’ll be able to cure the bugs the game is littered with, but even so, we wouldn’t mind seeing more ‘80s action heroes flapping about in helicopter blades.
