In the royal rumble of Army sergeants, one could put a firm sum of cash on the final four being Modern Warfare's Captain Price, Black Ops' Frank Woods, the A Team's Mr T, and a strapped up Rambo. With the four of them trading blows, Hacksaw Ridge's Desmond Doss would be needed on standby to clean up the mess, with an array of blood sweat and tears dripping off the human animals.

Fortunately, the quartet has yet to meet in the flesh, although this could be set to change.

One Call of Duty fan has seemingly cracked the most subtle teaser from the developers' official Twitter page, indicating that Rambo could soon become an operator in Warzone.

Rambo Operator Warzone Skin Teaser

Call of Duty's Twitter page dropped a nonchalant tweet that, upon first sighting, looked to be a simple impression farming exercise to have players find out their overall report cards.

Little did we all know, it contains a huge tip-off towards Rambo.

First of all, the name "SurvivorJohn#1009062" contains the first name of Rambo, whose surname was the inspiration behind the film franchise. Sylvester Stallone's character's full name was John James Rambo.

Alone, the name-dropping on "John" seems a pathetic link to the Rambo franchise though. One could throw a stone from the Gulag viewing platforms and hit a random guy called John.

However, this is just the first of a few hints.

The first Rambo movie was dropped in 1983, with the first three films being dropped in the same decade. The strong links to the eighties have been evident since Verdansk was whisked back in time to the year 1984 after zombies broke out around the Modern Warfare era map.

SurvivorJohn's games played, and games won, amounts to 5, which also coincides with the five Rambo films released - including the two reboots of the franchise coming in 2008 and 2019 respectively. All five titles also run for just over 7 hours and 45 minutes combined too, which fits the 7 hours game time John has put into Warzone.

Beginning top become quite uncanny, right?

The final tip of the hat was spotted by Twitter user EricMaynardII, who found that the 552 kills on the Player Card, was the exact same number of kills that Rambo gets on-screen across all five films.

Mind blown.

The final nailed-on hint from the Call of Duty Twitter account came in the form of their followings. Whilst boasting a whopping 4.3million followers, they only follow 16 people. Understandable when they are a game developer, maybe their top developers may find themselves on this list. Nope.

Interestingly, all 16 followed people have the surname "Trautman".

Why Trautman? The significance is that Colonel Samuel Richard Trautman is a fictional character in the Rambo films and novels, seen as somewhat of a father figure to Rambo himself.

Surely, this isn't a coincidence.

When Will Rambo Come To Warzone?

Of course, this is merely a tease. However, Rambo: First Blood Part II (the second instalment of the Rambo film franchise) was released on May 22, 1985.

Warzone's next big update is set to be the mid-season event for Warzone Season 3: Reloaded, which is due to drop in the week beginning of May 17.

Should we see a Rambo skin released, there would be no better time for the developers to slip in the muscled maniac than around the anniversary of his film.

So get your war paint out and headband strapped on, Rambo seems to be on his way to Warzone.
