Before you even think about using a Ring Console in Apex Legends, be aware that only Controller Legends are capable of accessing Ring Consoles. 

Apex Legends Season 16 redefined Class roles in Apex Legends. In this new era of Apex, it's Controller Legends, not Recon Legends, that can find the next Ring Location. Since Controller Legends are all about holding power positions and setting up fortifications, it's only appropriate that they be the ones that can use Ring Consoles.

If you're a Controller Legend, accessing Ring Consoles is relatively easy. Simply approach a Ring Console and interact with it to use it. Using a Ring Console will reveal the next Ring. 

There is no limit to the number of times a Ring Console can be used in a match. After the Ring shrinks, you can use a Ring Console to once again find the next Round's Ring.

Of course, to use a Ring Console in Apex Legends, you need to know where to find these devices. While Survey Beacons are usually located at higher altitudes, Ring Consoles exist closer to the ground in areas like plazas and courtyards. Many of Apex's Points of Interest house a Ring Console.
