The Apex Legends 2.16 patch notes aren't beefy, with most major updates being stored away for Season 16 on February 14. However, Respawn Entertainment has rolled out a few hotfixes and quality-of-life updates to tie us over to the final week of the season.

The Apex Legends 2.16 patch notes are as follows:

  • Fixed an issue where players were getting UI Images errors when playing Olympus.
  • Fixed an issue where players at certain ranks not receiving the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons.
  • Addressed a bug where players that buy Apex Coins don’t get an updated Coin balance until they restart the game.
  • Added stability and performance fixes.
  • Other minor tweaks.

Apex Legends Patch 2.16: Where Is Olympus?

The glaring omission in the Apex Legends 2.16 patch notes is the addition of Olympus itself to the Ranked mode.

With World's Edge currently in favour for Ranked, the penultimate Season 16 update should have spun Olympus back into the fold. However, it appears that Worlds Edge has remained as the only Ranked map for the time being, and it might be safe to assume that it will stay this way until the end of Season 15.

Respawn Entertainment hasn't commented on the omission of Olympus from Ranked, despite the patch notes primarily focusing on fixing Olympus-based problems.

The Apex Legends 2.16 patch notes went live on February 2, 2023, and can be downloaded now.
