What Is The Diablo Immortal Can’t Attack Bug?
The Diablo Immortal can’t attack bug is where a player is suddenly unable to make any inputs in the middle of a battle apart from movement. It is almost like the game is unable to register the combat that is going on and temporarily switches back to an exploration state.
It can be a very frustrating bug to deal with, as in the middle of a boss fight or surrounded by enemies the last thing you want is to not be able to defend yourself. Even worse is that you are also restricted from healing too, leaving you bound for death most of the time.
It is only currently affecting PC players as it seems strictly bound to the keyboard inputs, as opposed to the touch controls on mobile.

Diablo Immortal Can’t Attack Bug Causes
It can seem as if the Diablo Immortal can’t attack bug can come out of nowhere at any time, but it does seem to have at least one trigger. Many players are reporting the bug to trigger when using a channelling ability that you activate with a holding key press instead of a single action.
The Wizard class does seem to be the most widely affected due to the amount of channelling spells it has available, but the bug even hits melee focussed classes like the Barbarian with skills like the famous Whirlwind making players fall victim to the bug.
It is not confirmed that this is the only trigger of the Diablo Immortal can’t attack bug, but it certainly seems like the one that is most consistent.

How To Fix Diablo Immortal Can’t Attack Bug
There unfortunately does not seem to be a hard fix of such out there for the Diablo Immortal can’t attack bug. Some players are registering that the only way it fixed or reset for them was through either death or a game restart which is rather frustrating.
It does appear that the same channelling ability that was likely the trigger for the bug becomes available for use again after a couple of seconds for some players, and that can be a way to regain control of your character. Otherwise, your best bet is to stay on the move as much as you can to avoid any incoming damage, and disengage from a fight if you have the option. If all else fails, you can never go wrong with a bit of keyboard mashing.

One further fix would potentially be to replace any channelling skills from your character or just to simply not use them, but this is not ideal as there isn’t confirmation that they are the only trigger, and they are also sometimes the strongest and most enjoyable skills for your character.
