Some players will need to know how to fix the Diablo Immortal repair client issue, as it's preventing people from playing the game as soon as they boot it up on mobile devices. Diablo Immortal is the series' first mobile spin-off, and while it has many publicized issues right now, one of the biggest is that people can't even enter the game on their Android or iOS device. PC players don't need to worry about this, but if you are a mobile user, you may want to know how to fix the Diablo Immortal repair client issue.

For those who are unaware, the repair client issue is a problem where players are booting up the game and then getting stuck at the title screen, while the text "Repair Client" appears. While you are given the option to click a little button with a wrench and screwdriver, which asks if you would like to fix the issue, it doesn't actually seem to work, and instead, players will need to employ other fixes. There are a few potential ways to do this, so let's run through them.

Change Your Internet Connection

One of the simplest fixes is by changing the source of your internet. If you're using a Wi-Fi connection, try resetting your phone, and then using your data instead to get onto the game. This works the opposite way too, so if you're using data by default, try Wi-Fi.

Switch To A VPN

If switching the internet connection doesn't work, then trying to play with a VPN can also fix the problem. There are a number of free and paid VPN services out there, and any should work to fix the problem. Load it up and change the country you are in, and then try rebooting Diablo Immortal. It's important to remember that some countries like Belgium have prohibited the release of the game due to its monetization tactics.

Clear Your Cache

Another simple fix for the problem is to clear Diablo Immortal's cache. This will change depending on your phone, but the process is mostly the same across different devices. We're using the Google Pixel 4 for our example here. Click the 'Settings' button on the home screen, navigate to 'Apps,' and then select 'All apps' where you can click individual apps and clear their caches. Just find Diablo Immortal, clear the cache, then boot it up again.

Uninstalling The Game

Seemingly, the only way to fix this issue for definite is to uninstall the game and then reinstall it again. This isn't ideal for some people, and the above methods are quicker to try first, but if nothing is working, then reinstalling is your best bet.

That's all for our walkthrough of how to fix the Diablo Immortal repair client issue, and now you know a few methods for getting back into the game.

If you need the Diablo Immortal no sound fix, we've got you covered with a way to get back things up and running.
