Dragon Ball: The Breakers brings with it a style of gameplay that's never been seen in-game adaptations of the hit anime/manga series before: an online asymmetrical action game - essentially, survivial co-op - inspired by familiar titles in the world of horror games like Dead By Daylight or Friday the 13th. Is Dragon Ball: The Breakers Free To Play?
Although playing the beta earlier this year was free to play, that's not the case for Dragon Ball: The Breakers' full release. While that means you'll have to pay for it, the fact that The Breakers is a smaller title has been thankfully reflected in its pricing.
The standard version of Dragon Ball: Breakers is the cheapest across its various platforms - although, it's only available digitally: £15.99/$19.99 at the PlayStation store, £15.99/$19.99 at the Xbox store, £17.99/$19.99 at the Nintendo eShop, £16.99/$19.99 on Steam, or from $17.24 on PC at G2A.
Physical versions of the game are available in the form of "Special Editions" for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch which are available at Amazon. As well as getting a physical disc of the game - except for Switch, instead of being a code in the box - the Special Edition includes additional cosmetics like skins and accessories.
