Fortnite Timber Pines Guide - Where To Find Timber Pines
Click to enlargeTimber Pines are brand new trees, but rather than being dispersed across the map or altogether replacing the trees that already existed in-game, the trees are specific to certain locations.
These trees can only be found in the map's wintry areas, especially around Logjam Lumberyard and Shifty Shafts to the northwest corner of the island. You'll be able to spot them pretty easily, as they're much bigger than other trees, and they've got much paler trunks than them too. You'll need to find them for one of the latest challenges too, so make sure you're paying attention.

Fortnite Timber Pines: How To Cut Down Timber Pines
Click to enlargeAll you have to do to take down one of the Timber Pines is smack it with your harvesting tool. You're going to want to be careful though, as the position in which you're standing will affect its fall.
When you're chopping the tree down, make sure you're standing on the side you don't want it to fall on. It'll fall in the direction you're facing when the final hit is made, so make sure you're pointing towards your foes and not your entire squad. You'll also get some wood for the trouble, just as you would with any other tree.
