As the name suggests, beast scraps are a resource garnered from beasts. Beast scraps are often dropped by defeated beasts, which are a type of enemy. Essentially, beasts are enemies that aren't human-like or gods. This accounts for a significant chunk of the enemies in the game, but they are more prevalent in some areas than others.

Let's use the early goings of the game for example. Starting out in Midgard, the majority of enemies you will face will be raiders, who are human and will not drop Beast Scraps. Then, moving on to Sfartelfheim, many of the enemies here are Grims and Wretches. As beasts, they can drop beast scraps when defeated. As such, if you are looking to stock up specifically on beast scraps, focus on places like Sfartelfheim or Vanaheim which are filled with beast-type enemies.
