The Halo Infinite Fiesta mode comes as part of the new Fracture: Tenrai event that began on November 23. The Tenrai event adds a bunch of new content to Halo, including some new shop items, a battle pass full of customisation items, and even the Yoroi armor core. The Halo Infinite Fiesta mode is only here for the duration of the event, so for a rundown of how it plays and how exactly it ties to the Tenrai event, read on.

The Fiesta mode is a new matchmaking PvP game mode that has been introduced as part of the Tenrai event. The event will run until November 29, so you won't have long to take part in the mode, but it's set to return when the Tenrai event starts up again in January and February.

Halo Infinite's Fiesta mode can be accessed from the matchmaking menu. It's only available with eight players, in a 4v4 format. It's also similar to the Slayer mode, where the team which reaches 50 kills first wins. However, the twist for Fiesta is that the weapons you spawn with are randomised, both initially and after you die.

Additionally, you also spawn with randomised equipment and grenades. There are also no power weapon spawns, or additional weapons that appear in their usual spots, so map control is prioritised less, making it more of a chaotic firefight between teams.

The Fiesta mode does offer a good opportunity for players to learn all the game's new and returning weapons, along with the equipment and grenades. Considering Halo Infinite is still in beta until December 8, it should also benefit players.

The Halo Infinite Fiesta matches are also key to the Tenrai event challenges. Many of them require you to play the Fiesta mode and complete challenges such as getting a killing spree, or finishing two matches. And each finished challenge will give you a level in the Tenrai battle pass.

You won't be able to finish the Tenrai battle pass in one week though, as it requires you to play it during its return in the upcoming months. There's no news on whether there will be other modes available in the future, but we can assume the Fiesta mode will return and continue to be necessary for the completion of challenges.

That's the rundown on how Halo Infinite Fiesta matches work, and how it relates to the Tenrai event.
