Now that we've had some time to explore the collection of Halo Infinite maps, fans have eagerly been memorising chokepoints and flank routes. Halo has re-entered the multiplayer space in a big way thanks to the free-to-play Halo Infinite, and each of the game's ten maps are equally responsible for that success. However, without any set map lists, it can be a little difficult to remember each of those offered up in Infinite. That's we've broken down everything you need to know about the Halo Infinite maps. Let's jump in Spartan.

Halo Infinite Maps: Aquarius

Aquarius is a symmetrical arena-type map full of the potential for rapid battling and cross-map skirmishing. It's got that classic Halo feel, with a central lane that has various vertical positions to occupy, and a power weapon spawn in the middle that players will need to contest for.

It's set in some sort of artificial agricultural facility, with lots of green thrown in to contrast the more muted off-white of the walls and black flooring. Currently, the available modes for this map are CTF and Slayer.

This map was part of the initial technical preview event, meaning plenty of players had already experienced the urban action come Infinite's launch. Inspired by the parts of the Halo 2 campaign that saw Master Chief traversing the African megalopolis of New Mombasa, Bazaar takes place in a large open market area.

The central market area is where the crux of the fighting happens, thanks to the power weapons placed around and the all the vertical overlooks. The side buildings and corridors make for good flanking routes and stealth gameplay, perfect for abusing the gravity hammer that can spawn in the middle. This map is featured in the CTF and Slayer modes.

Halo Infinite Maps: Behemoth

Like the name suggests, this is one of Infinite's larger maps, full of long sniper lanes and arenas for vehicle combat. It's fully symmetrical, and is set in a sandy area amidst Forerunner technology. This gives the map that classic ancient sci-fi look that is familiar to long-time Halo fans.

Due to its size, it gives players a lot of options for how to play. You can rush around quickly by using the bridges and gravity cannons, chase down enemies in the Warthogs and Ghosts, or utilise the sniper to pick off players in the open. It has all the makings for a classic Halo map, thanks to its range of approaches and Forerunner aesthetic. It can be played in CTF or Slayer.

Halo Infinite Maps: Deadlock

Deadlock is set in an abandoned Banished camp that the UNSC are trying to assault. The Banished are the main enemy force in Halo Infinite's campaign, and they occupy much of Zeta Halo. There's even a large anti-air canon on the map that periodically fires at a UNSC frigate in the sky.

It's one of the game's bigger maps currently, set in a night-time canyon, with plenty of uneven surfaces to fight up and down. There's also vehicles and defence turrets for player's to use. It's only available in Big Team Battle, on the CTF, Slayer, Total Control, and Stockpile modes.

Halo Infinite Maps: Fragmentation

This is another map on the larger side and should be familiar to long time Halo players thanks to its similarities to maps like Valhalla or Blood Gulch. It's designed for Big Team Battle mode, and like Behemoth, features lots of vehicle warfare and long-range skirmishing.

Despite how large it is, there are plenty of natural positions for cover thanks to rocky outcrops and big tree groupings. It's certain to be a favourite for objective-based modes like Capture the Flag, allowing players to get involved in hectic chases across the map. It's playable in CTF, Slayer, Total Control, and Stockpile.

Halo Infinite Maps: Highpower

Another map that follows the common theme of warfare deep in a canyon, Highpower places teams in opposing bases with a large wall in the middle dividing the map. There are plenty of bigger power weapons around the middle and sides of the map, with vehicles spawning at each base too.

It's another one of the larger maps, and is only available in Big Team Battle as of now, on the CTF, Slayer, Total Control, and Stockpile modes.

Halo Infinite Maps: Launch Site

Launch Site should be familiar for long-time Halo fans, as it looks inspired by Countdown, the Halo Reach map that places players in a rocket facility. This one is much larger, with an asymmetrical design that puts one team near the rocket ship, and the other team down near a depot. The power weapons are also slight different, with them favouring the team that spawns near the depot.

It's currently only available on One Flag CTF and Slayer modes.

Halo Infinite Maps: Live Fire

Live Fire is a smaller map that is set in the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science, home to the Spartan training program. It's designed to test player's CQC abilities and map control. This is thanks to the power weapons located in the middle that should be the catalyst for many early contests between players.

It looks like one of those arenas perfect for a chaotic King of the Hill match, and its small size lends itself to one-sided stomps on the Team Slayer mode. You'll be wanting the shotgun or an energy sword for this one. It's playable on Oddball, Slayer, and Strongholds.

Halo Infinite Maps: Recharge

Recharge is one of the best Halo Infinite maps, with a varied approach to verticality, you will be jumping between ledges and lower platforms. This is great opportunity to utilise both the grappleshot and natural cover. A coordinated team can really hold down a spot in this map, so teamwork is an absolute must if you are playing an objective based mode like Oddball.

It also has a melee power weapon spawn in the back of the map, so stalking the halls with an energy sword or gravity hammer will turn you into a Darth Vader-like figure in the eyes of other players, giving you a chance to earn that elusive Halo Infinite Mythic Medal. This map allows for the Oddball, Slayer, and Strongholds modes.

Halo Infinite Maps: Streets

Streets is another map that takes players to the New Mombasa locale, but this time in an advanced commercial district with arcades, food parlours, and salons. It's on the smaller side, with some closed-in and open-air locations, but the majority of the fighting will take place in the side lanes.

It features some vertical overlooks too, but they're obscured enough to not see the whole map, which discourages camping with the long-range weapons. The rocket launcher also makes an appearance, which should make a meal of enemies who challenge you from the side streets. It's available on Oddball, Slayer, and Strongholds.

These are all the officially available Halo Infinite maps now that the game has been out a while. We will be updating this article as more maps are added.
