Mauer Der Toten - How To Turn On Power And Pack-A-Punch Machine
The new Zombies map is finally here! We’ve got a new experience to play around with, that’s no doubt brimming with Easter eggs and secrets galore.
But, if you want to get far enough to find them, you’re going to need to get the power turned on, and you’re going to want to upgrade your weapons sharpish too. Here’s how to get the power on, and how to unlock the mystical Pack-A-Punch Machine…
How To Turn On The Power In Mauer Der Toten
Click to enlargeGet yourself down to the city street, following your HUD and opening doors on your way down. Once you’re there, you’ll see a Tempest, the electric baddie you might recognise from Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak mode. When you’re ready to do so, take it on in battle and once it’s dead, it will drop a fuse. You’ll need two of these to turn the power on, so pick it up and move on to the underground that you might recognise from the U-Bahn multiplayer map.
On the other side of the station is a classic-looking power switch - pull it, and a panel will open, revealing where you need to put the fuses. Drop the one you have in there, and you’re ready to find the second. The other Tempest will be marked as an objective, so follow the map to it and take it out. Pick up the fuse it drops, return it to the power switch and drop it in. Voilà! You’ve lifted the power and are ready to trek around the map once again. Now, about that Pack-A-Punch…

How To Turn On The Power In Mauer Der Toten
Once the power is turned on, the Pack-A-Punch machine will be marked on your map. Get over to it, and you’ll see eight figures hovering in ritual, who will glow red once you’ve interacted with the machine.
The ‘Disciple’ will appear, turning the figures into tough zombies, and will need to be taken down. Once you’ve killed them, the Pack-A-Punch will be activated. You can now upgrade your weapons to your heart’s content.
Mauer Der Toten’s power and Pack-A-Punch steps are simple, but that’s just how we like it. Crack on with the map and get to killing!
