You may be asking is Overwatch 2 pack worth buying? While Overwatch 2 is releasing free to play on October 4, players can purchase the Watchpoint Pack, which essentially acts like a special edition of the game with some exclusive benefits to those who buy it. Considering some of the contents of the Watchpoint Pack though, many fans are really questioning what the point of it is. So read on for an answer to the question - is Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack worth buying?

So if you just want to play Overwatch 2, it's set to be completely free-to-play upon release on October 4, but you can also purchase the Watchpoint Pack for £34.99/$39.99. Many players are questioning the worth of this edition of the game though, so what's in it?

Firstly, purchasing the Watchpoint Pack gives you immediate access to the Overwatch 2 beta, which starts on June 28. You will also earn two new legendary tier skins, which are Space Raider Soldier 76 and Space Raider Cassidy. The premium battle pass for season one will be included so you can level it up from the get go, and you will earn 2000 Overwatch 2 virtual currency to use in buying cosmetics, levelling the battle pass, or purchasing the future passes for 1000 each if you manage to hold onto it for that long. Lastly, there is an exclusive player icon you can equip, and perhaps the most puzzling part of this whole bundle, the Overwatch Legendary Edition.

Many players wondered, is Overwatch 2 replacing Overwatch 1? Considering the answer is yes, the inclusion of the original game is puzzling, as you will only get to play it for about three months before it is rendered useless, and the majority of players who would purchase the Watchpoint Pack will already own the game. This leaves the rest of the pack's content pretty bare bones too, with the only highlight being the guaranteed beta access.

From a purely monetary standpoint, the prices of the legendary skins, the premium battle pass, and the virtual currency make it worth the cost, but if you don't value cosmetics all that much, it's a waste of money that can be spent elsewhere.

That's all for our guide, and now you know if the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack is worth buying.
