The 2022 League of Legends World Championship is finally upon us and not only does it signify that the most hype League event is finally starting but it also means that fans across the world will be able to more than just watch. We’re of course talking about Pick’Em.
Kicking off the most important tournament in the League of Legends calendar will be the LEC’s MAD Lions taking on the LLA’s Isurus this Thursday, and for this match, and all of the rest of the matches in the month-long event, players will be able to make predictions and earn some sweet in-game loot via Pick’Em.
This Pick’Em feature allows League of Legends players to predict results in order to earn points for in-game rewards. Usually, players can only predict match outcomes, however, this time around, they’ll also be able to make more than just that. Anything from the meta, how many and how times a champion will be picked to how many reverse sweeps and Penta kills there will be. It’s all in good fun with some great prizes.

How To Play The League of Legends Worlds 2022 Pick’Em
Players will be able to make a total of 20 predictions prior to the tournament’s start. The system officially opened up on Friday, September 23, and will close on Thursday, September 29 when the first match of the tournament starts.
Here are the steps you need to follow to participate:
- Visit the official Worlds 2022 Pick’Em page
- Log in with your Riot Games account
- Click on “Get Started”
- Make sure you’re under the “Crystal Ball” tab
- Begin making Predictions
As the tournament progress, more prediction options will begin opening up. They will continue for the stages of the event such as the Knockout Stage, Group Stage as well as the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals.
It’s worth noting that not every region will be able to participate in the Worlds 2022 Pick’Ems. These regions include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic (“DNR”), Luhansk People’s Republic (“LNR”), Sudan, Venezuela, Syria, China, Quebec, Taiwan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, or any other region where this offer is void; and requires a valid Riot Account and a Summoner Name to play and receive rewards.
