Sadly, Metroid Prime Remastered does not have any Amiibo support. Lots of Nintendo games have Amiibo support, but Metroid Prime Remastered is not one of them.

Metroid Prime Remastered is a faithful remaster of the original GameCube game from 2002. Retro Studios didn't add too many features to the remaster, so Amiibo support isn't present.

The changes they did make include new control schemes, improved graphics, and accessibility options. There's no guarantee Amiibo support will be added in any potential updates either.

We also haven't seen any new Metroid Prime related Amiibo, and without any Amiibo support in the game, it's unlikely we'll see anything like that.

The last big Metroid game, Metroid Dread, does have Amiibo support. As a result, some people might have expected to see it in the new remaster too.

The Amiibo that work with Metroid Dread include the Samus and E.M.M.I double pack, Samus Aran and Metroid (Metroid series), and Samus, Dark Samus, Zero Suit Samus and Ridley (Super Smash Bros series).

These Amiibo would grant you various power-ups or unlocks in the game to help with your gameplay. For example, the Samus and E.M.M.I double-pack Amiibo would give you a permanent energy tank and a permanent missile tank to add to your overall total. You could even use them every day to give you a daily energy refill and missile ammo refill.

The rest of the Amiibo simply granted you daily energy refills or daily missile ammo refills. And of course, they all look pretty nice on a shelf.
