Spider-Man Remastered Release Times: Release Date and Pre-Load

However, while that is the official release date, that might not be accurate depending on where you are in the world, more on that later.
In better news for Spider-Man fans on PC, the game is now available to pre-load, meaning if you purchase the game now on Steam, you can download it ahead of release. Pre-ordering any game does come with some risk, as they may not work as intended at launch. This has happened previously to Sony with the PC release of Horizon Zero Dawn, but those kinks were promptly ironed out.

Now, because time zones are a thing, this means the game will release at different times in different regions, even so far as dipping into the 13th of August in many places.
