As a result, you don’t get to spend too much time with the two of them interacting, leading to very little information about the pair of them being discovered.

The events of The Witcher 3 take place in 1272 and it’s confirmed the prologue of the game takes place when Ciri is 10 years old. However, if you do a little more digging, you can discover the year Ciri was born. Scouring around the in-game journal, it’s confirmed Ciri was born in 1251, thus making her 21 during the events of The Witcher 3.
Of course, Ciri acts much more mature for her age, and that’s propelled by the dramatic events that take place in The Witcher 3 that force her to mature much more quickly. It may be shocking to discover she’s so young, but it doesn’t make her any less of an incredible character in the series.
