V Rising server settings give players a lot of ways to customise their experience. V Rising is a consistently online game, where playing on public servers requires players to be mindful of things happening even while they are offline. That said, there are plenty of options for playing the game in different ways. Here is everything you need to know about the various V Rising server settings.

When starting V Rising, players will be presented with a couple of options. They can choose to play on a PvP or PvE server. Public PvE servers all generally have the same rules, up to four players can play together and there is no fighting amongst players. There are a couple of options for PvP servers, the regular server type is the same rules as PvE but with the ability to attack one another. Then you have Duos and Full-Loot PvP. In Duos, you can play with a maximum clan size of two, and in Full-Loot, players drop all items on death.

For more customisation options, you can start a Private Game. In your own private game, you have a plethora of options to play with. You can choose how many people can join your game, if anyone can join, you can even customise the rules of the game. V Rising clearly wants players to play the game their way, the only real drawback of private games being they lack the consistent multiplayer of a server, and only a reduced number of players can join.

To have ultimate control over your game, you can rent your own dedicated server. V Rising hosts its servers on a service called GPortal, and you can go to their website and pay to host your own. With your own dedicated server, you have total control over how the game works. You can set it up exactly how you and your friends want it, and guarantee that you will have it entirely to yourselves.

To do so, simply head to the GPortal website and purchase one of their server plans. You can choose how long to rent it for, how many players it can hold, and the location of the server which best suits you.

That is everything you need to know about V Rising server settings in order to customise the game your way. For more tips, check out our V Rising PvP guide.
