It looks like Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is back on Twitch and is already smashing it with viewing figures. Following the closure of Microsoft's Mixer, there were big questions about where the likes of Ninja and Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek would go next.
By the looks of it, the legendary player is trying out Fortnite for Twitch and is making the most of the hype surrounding the new "Joy Ride" update - now with the addition of cars.
Ninja briefly popped up for a single stream on YouTube and hit a massive 160,000 concurrent views. When Ninja parted ways with Mixer, he also got a cool payout of $30 million. Both Ninja and Shroud teased they were moving on following Mixer's untimely demise, and with Twitch being such a huge platform, is anyone really surprised Ninja has turned around and headed back to where it all started?
When Ninja popped up on YouTube, Esports reporter Rod Breslau said "Ninja is currently in negotiations with streaming platforms and no exclusive deal has yet been signed". There's still been no official word following his YouTube and Twitch streams, meaning he could be keeping his options open.
Discussing his Twitch stream, Ninja explained it "came about in two seconds". So is he back on Twitch full-time? Not just yet...
